Ship engineering
One of the main activities performed by PDI Beiramar, which is precisely why it was created in 1998, is the preparation of electrical engineering projects for ship installations.
Our work begins with the preparation of the basic electrical project for the vessel:
- Consumer list
- Installation single-wire drawing
- Electrical balance
- Shirt-circuit calculation
- Selectivity study
We also carry out lighting arrangements and designs. Also, electrical drawings for manufacturing electrical boards and consoles.
We examine the coordination between the various onboard electrical equipment suppliers and advise our clients on the interfaces between them.
Our work may include detailed documents for final onboard installation: wiring lists and connection drawings.
If required, we can provide assistance during the commissioning of the installed equipment, for example, integrated control and alarms systems.
